In June 2018, the company that provides HR and recruitment services to clients across the world announced that they had detected suspicious activity in their systems in May and that this was determined to have been a malware infection and potential cause of a personal data breach.
The company did not disclose any information about the malware except to say it had been removed from their systems. Several of their clients closed their recruitment pages in response to the incident.
In November 2018, the company provided further information stating that there was no evidence that the attackers had exfiltrated any personal data on its 2.6 million active users.
