In September 2019 the company confirmed it had suffered a data breach affecting almost 5 million users.
The exposed information included names, email addresses, delivery addresses, order history, phone numbers and passwords. The company said that the last four digits of some customers' credit cards and bank account numbers were also accessed. The company specified that users who signed up after 5th April 2018 weren't affected.
The breach was caused when a third-party vendor was accessed one weekend in May 2019. It’s not clear why it took the company almost five months to notify its customers about the breach.
